In early July, I had ptosis correction and bulbous nose surgery.
I was stressed because of my bulbous nose, so at first I looked into reducing it with sculpting injections or Botox.
But at a skin clinic, they told me that at this level I would need surgery. They said it was too thick, so it would be hard to see an effect...
So I went to a plastic surgery clinic famous for noses, but the director kindly told me that even with surgery, it would be difficult to improve,
so I was a bit shocked. I gave up on it.
About 6 months passed like that, and suddenly I remembered what happened back then.
Then I started thinking, “You only live once, shouldn’t I try the things I want to try?”
So I worked hard going around to consultations, and had bulbous nose surgery in July. It has now been exactly three months, and honestly, there hasn’t been a big improvement.
A small number of people notice because the bridge of my nose is slightly higher, but most people don’t know I had surgery. When I tell them I did, they say things like “Why did you do it?” or “You shouldn’t have.”
That made me feel a bit bad, but I didn’t regret having the surgery.
Even now, three months later, the nasal tip is still very hard, and every time I breathe in deeply through my nose, the tip of my nose feels slightly numb and tingling.
They say bulbous nose results can take as long as 6 months to 1 year, so I’m kind of hypnotizing myself by thinking, there’s still time left...
Even though it hasn’t improved much, I’m trying to think positively and live with as much confidence as I can!
Even if you don’t get the result you wanted, I hope you don’t feel too disappointed, and whether the outcome leads to revision surgery or a procedure, I hope you make a decision you won’t regret.
