I think it’s been about 40 days since removal. The surgery was: removal of Gore-Sili from the nasal bridge, partial removal only of the septal cartilage at the nasal tip, and the removed septal cartilage was diced and placed into the nasal tip (open approach).
The columellar scar is still red, and the tightness, pulling, and pressure I felt in the nasal bridge before removal are gone. I don’t really notice any contraction-period symptoms. My nose does look a little shorter, but it’s subtle, so I’m not sure~ The septal cartilage is still in the nasal tip, so it feels hard~
But the nasal bridge area near the glabella still keeps stinging~ It feels like the inner tissue hasn’t healed.
I keep wondering how long it will hurt like this.. There are no other symptoms, but could it be inflammation that isn’t visible.. The removal itself seems to have gone well, but I wonder why it hurts so much.. I also wonder if it’ll stop hurting after a few more months.
