I cannot say how many years I have been stressed because of my nose I am so happy that it finally feels like I have a normal-looking nose again... My first rhinoplasty was 14 years ago. At the time, I only wanted my nose to look prettier, but silicone ended up protruding inside my nose. Eventually I had only the silicone removed and lived like that, but over time my nasal tip became lifted and crooked, so I felt devastated every time I looked in the mirror. I heard revision surgery is much harder than the first surgery, so this time I researched very carefully. Honestly, I was not very hopeful even while looking into clinics, but I felt that a contracted nose should not be operated on just anywhere, so I searched mainly for surgeons with extensive experience in difficult revision rhinoplasty and consulted Dr. A! From the consultation, the doctor compared my CT scans and nasal condition one by one and explained in detail why my nose had changed this way. Rather than simply making it higher or more glamorous, the doctor honestly explained both what could be improved and what would be difficult, which made me trust the doctor more. Since my tip was lifted and crooked, the doctor used donor rib cartilage to support it and designed the columella–nasolabial angle carefully. Now, even from the front, the crooked nose is well corrected and the symmetry looks good; from the side, it has become naturally defined, so I am very happy In the past, I was so self-conscious about my nose in photos that I hid it with extreme angles, but these days that stress has decreased a lot lol. I was honestly very worried about what I would do if this surgery also went wrong. But seeing the result makes me feel a little compensated for all the emotional hardship. If you have been worrying about a contracted nose for a long time like me, since it is revision rhinoplasty, I hope you carefully compare the surgeon’s experience and surgical plan. I am truly satisfied with my result.
