Review of removing calcium filler and re-re-re nose surgery with Soft, using autologous costal cartilage

It has been three weeks since my revision nose surgery at Lowell. The photos are from around the 2-week mark? My first nose surgery was in 2019: 4 mm silicone for the bridge / alar reduction / ear cartilage + septoplasty. For the second nose surgery, I used ear cartilage to re-correct only the tip, and I also had calcium filler injected into the bridge. This time it was my third nose surgery, and for this one I used a 3D implant called Soft for the bridge / removal of foreign material / autologous costal cartilage for the tip. The filler that had been placed in my bridge became uneven, and the tip also started to droop again, so I decided on revision surgery. I also thought that if I used ear cartilage again, it might get absorbed later and I would end up needing another revision, so this time I definitely wanted to proceed with autologous costal cartilage. When I searched for autologous costal cartilage, Lowell Plastic Surgery came up. During the consultation, I asked the manager and Director Kim Jaeyoon detailed questions I had, and they answered everything so kindly that I felt very good about it. In particular, I had visited several hospitals for consultations, but this was the only doctor who confidently said he could remove the bridge filler, which made me trust him even more! Since it was autologous costal cartilage, I was really worried about pain before surgery, but once I actually had it done, it was better than I had expected. Right after surgery, there was some swelling and bruising around the eyes, but I received good postoperative care at the hospital and it went down faster than I expected. On the day the splint was removed, they also carefully cleaned out the sebum in my nose. With the tip being higher, my mouth also looks more tucked in ..! I am as satisfied with the result as I hoped, and I am looking forward to the one-month mark.
