My skin is on the thin side, so that was the biggest stress factor from my very first nose surgery. I had it done with donated rib cartilage before, but the bridge bent and the cartilage showed through, so even the sharp contour showed right through it, and my nose was always what drew my eye..;; When I was looking into revision surgery, my biggest worry was again whether it would show through because of my thin skin. But this time they rebuilt the structure and filled in volume with autologous tissue, so the line is smooth and natural.. Now I do not have to worry about my nose anymore< I used to be mildly obsessed with it before.. There is no showing-through at all now, and the bridge used to look a bit unnatural, but that is gone too. It really seems to suit my facial proportions
