It feels different again at 2 months after nose surgery

I thought there wouldn’t be that much change after one month, but now that I’m past the two-month mark, it’s amazing how it keeps changing little by little lol At first, I really checked my nose every time I looked in the mirror lol Back then, checking the swelling and how the line looked every day was a habit, but these days I just go about my day without thinking about it, and then when I see a photo I’m like, oh? lol I recently took pictures with friends, and if it had been before, I probably would have looked at my nose first as soon as the group photo came out lol I would have checked everything like whether it looked spread out or low, but these days I only end up looking at the overall mood of the photo What I personally like most is that my face looks cleaner overall! Before, my features felt a little disconnected, but now that the nose line is set, the center of my face feels more organized, so the overall vibe seems different too lol There’s a subtle difference even when I put on makeup, especially when shading lol Before, even if I added quite a bit of shadow, it didn’t quite give the look I wanted, but now just a little is enough to look natural, so it’s easier And now that it’s been two months, I’m definitely less worried about swelling too Before, I would look in the mirror every morning and check, “Did it swell a bit today?” but now it only looks a little different depending on how I feel? I think I’m starting to understand what people mean when they say it naturally settles into place over time lol Daily life is much easier too In the beginning, I was careful about how I slept and worried about my nose touching anything, but now there’s nothing that really bothers me in everyday life haha Still, I know it’s part of the recovery process, so I’m intentionally avoiding anything that might hit my nose! The reactions from people around me were more fun than I expected lol Close friends noticed right away, but people I met after a long time mostly said my vibe felt different lately Personally, I like that It doesn’t feel like only the nose changed dramatically; the whole impression seems to have shifted naturally lol Before surgery, I really worried a lot about whether I’d be satisfied, but looking back, I think I was just making myself worry for nothing lol Since I’m still not fully healed, I think it’ll become a bit more natural over time, and as of the two-month mark, there aren’t any major inconveniences in daily life and I’m pretty satisfied haha Now, instead of staring in the mirror every day looking for changes, I just like the process of it naturally becoming familiar, like my own nose lol I’m curious what it will feel like next month too
