I posted a consultation review last time, and I said I would post again after the removal... Last Saturday, I finally had the full removal done~
Today is day 4. There is still swelling around my eyes, but maybe it’s because I didn’t really do cold compresses well.
I had everything removed~ I think it took roughly about 40 minutes~ They consulted with me once more before surgery, and it ended faster than I had expected~
It had been over 10 years since I had my nose done, so I was in a situation where I didn’t remember in detail which hospital I had surgery at back then or what surgical method was used. I consulted with the doctor.. After looking at the situation, he said it would be okay to proceed with a closed approach, and the actual surgery was also done with a closed approach~ (I was actually worried they might do an open approach~)
I was curious what had been inserted into my nose during the surgery 10 years ago, so when I visited on day 2 after surgery, I asked the doctor, and he showed me photos of the L-shaped silicone and ear cartilage that were removed from my nose~
This Saturday is the day I get the splint removed and the stitches taken out... My nose shape may be worse than before removal, but my mind feels incredibly at ease~ So far there are no particular symptoms, and my nasal alae are slightly swollen, but I think it will go down with time. I think it went well...
I also went through a lot emotionally, and I can feel what it must be like for people who are looking for related information...ㅜ
Please don’t worry over it for too long. Especially because it concerns appearance, the stress is no jokeㅜ From recognizing the problem to consultation and removal surgery, it took me less than a month~
The photo above is after removal.... Before surgery, I also wished people would upload some post-op photos. So I’m attaching photos. They’re so messy that... I wasn’t going to upload them, but it’s day 4... Please understand~
