I think this will be my last review. Since it’s the last one, I’m uploading photos so you can compare my natural nose, my nose after surgery, and my nose after removal. After 10 years with nasal silicone + ear cartilage, the silicone was about to break through the mucous membrane inside my nose, so I had it removed. The silicone was removed, and I had the nasal tip cartilage tying redone. My natural nose was bulbous, so I really didn’t want my nose to spread out again ㅜ After the removal, sometimes when I look at my nose in the bathroom, I feel like the bridge has gotten a lot lower, so it bothers me a bit. But because of the cartilage tying, the shape hasn’t changed much compared with before, so I’m satisfied.
Three months after removal, there were two times when the tip of my nose suddenly turned red and hurt. I asked the clinic, and they said that if there was no heat sensation, we should watch it a little longer. It went away over time, but a dark stain was left behind. But that also faded with time. I think it really was just a pimple. If anyone has the same symptoms, I hope this helps. After about a week? the pain and redness disappeared.
I had been worried because a long strip of scar tissue formed inside my nose, but that has also settled down a lot. Time really does seem to be the medicine. For those preparing for removal, please don’t be too anxious. I hope everything goes well for everyone.
