Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

Honest review of double-jaw surgery!!!

Hello! I’m leaving an honest review of double-jaw surgery!

After looking into all the doctors said to have a lot of experience and skill with bone-related surgery, I chose Dr. Choi Bong-gyun and had surgery on February 11.

Did it hurt?? Of course, if I said it didn’t hurt, that would be a lie. Don’t believe people who say double-jaw surgery doesn’t hurt. They’ve forgotten what it was like before. It hurtsㅠ It’s painfulㅠ But!! Everyone goes into this prepared, right? Think of it as living the rest of your life prettier and functionally better, and go in with a do-or-die mindset! It was brief~ After surgery, the pain is really just brief, up to about one week~ After that, you start eating little by little, the swelling goes down, and you keep feeling small moments of happiness. After about 3 months, you recover almost like before! It’s definitely much better than my old face. However, unless you have severe malocclusion or a protruding lower jaw, don’t expect a perfectly dramatic effect. Think of it as changing your own image to look a bit more refined, cute, or innocent. Go in with the idea of upgrading your original image a little. And since your facial contour can be refined again when the pins are removed, more than anything, double-jaw surgery must be done somewhere safe. If the occlusion is aligned and it goes well without side effects, contouring can be done later during pin removal anyway.

I’m about 60% satisfied with the appearance because it didn’t completely change, but I’m 100% satisfied that the surgery went well without side effects. There is almost no nerve damage, I eat well, speak well, and I’m living very well. When I look at acquaintances who had double-jaw surgery, some still have no sensation even after 10 years, and some said their nerves only started coming back a little after 1 year. For me, at the 3-month point, it seems almost all recovered.

Anyway, everyone reading this! Aesthetics come second, and safety comes first. Since double-jaw surgery is one of the largest-scale operations in plastic surgery, you absolutely need to have it done by a doctor with extensive expertise and experience. If something is a little lacking, it can be refined again, but if safety is not maintained, you may have to undergo revision surgery in tremendous pain.

As someone who trusted Dr. Choi Bong-gyun and had surgery, this experience made me trust him enough that I could undergo double-jaw surgery a second time. It cannot be done painlesslyㅠ But if you recover and have almost no, no, absolutely no side effects~ Everyone, can’t you endure just a few days of that pain?

I hope you all achieve the results you want! Thank you, Dr. Choi Bong-gyun!
