Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Ten months after double-jaw surgery for protruding mouth and lower-face concerns—my mouth area finally looks much more natural!

I deliberated over double-jaw surgery for almost ten years because of my protruding mouth and bulky-looking lower face. I especially hated seeing my profile in photos taken by others. I live in Busan, but I also researched consultations in Seoul. After hearing Dr. Shin explain things at [Clinic A] on my first visit, I scheduled surgery that same day. I had worried for so long, and now it is already ten months after surgery—amazing, haha. At one month, I liked that my profile had changed, but the area around my mouth still felt awkward. My lips looked as if they were rolling inward, and I sometimes wondered whether they would set that way. Now the subtle tenderness from the early period has almost disappeared, and my mouth area feels settled and suited to my face. Friends who saw me right after surgery say my facial contour and overall impression look much more natural now. At ten months, what I like most is my jawline. I was concerned about my bulky lower face, but I did not want a very pointed chin or all the jaw angles to disappear from the side after contouring surgery. Now my lower face looks neater from the front, while a slight angle remains from the side. It is exactly the feeling I wanted, so even now I feel happy when I see profile photos, haha. At two months, I wrote that when a friend pointed a camera at me, I unconsciously just smiled. In the past, when I saw photos taken by others, I first checked how protruding my mouth looked; now my expression in the photo catches my eye first. At one month, I looked at the area around my mouth every day, wondering when it would look natural. Now I only realize how much it has changed when I look at the photos I took back then.
