Surgery date 1.11 / Removal date 1.30
1. Surgical method Open approach Nasal bridge silicone under 2 mm Used an ear cartilage strut for the nasal tip with ear cartilage placed on top No other manipulation besides the two methods above
2. Reason for early removal (no inflammation at all x) Vague fear of silicone side effects 50% Aesthetic dissatisfaction 40% Discomfort 10%
3. Consultation details right before early removal The silicone that had been inserted was very thin, so there would not be much height difference Because it had not healed yet, the removal itself would be easy. However, since it means damaging the wound one more time, it is not good for the skin tissue. The scar may be darker. And although the possibility is low, the chance of contracture is not zero, so it would be good to take capsular contracture medication for two months
4. Removal method Sedation anesthesia Surgery time within 1 hour Removed through an open approach Removed silicone Removed the ear cartilage except only the absolutely necessary parts ★Left a little of the ear cartilage strut and one round layer on the nasal tip! For the shape!★
5. After removal surgery As with the surgery, I had a splint, taping, and nasal cotton packing all done The pain felt more stinging inside the nose than during the first surgery The nose definitely feels light
6. What I felt -I feel so pathetic for going through with surgery without recognizing silicone side effects. -I personally think people who are overly sensitive and worry too much like me should not get nose surgery. -If your face before surgery has a cute, gentle impression, please do it knowing that your impression may change!!! Please!! Even after swelling goes down, a surgically done nose is still a surgically done nose... It shows. Also, no matter how low the silicone is after surgery, the impression changes ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From below is the review after 50 days.
First, after early removal, I was so happy during the first week to two weeks. My impression became gentle again, I felt relieved, and I thought the contraction phase was not coming lol But. Then. Exactly from day 21, the contraction phase came... My nose became hard and upturned, my nostrils showed from the front, and it looked like a breath-holding nose ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It kept lifting from week 3 to the one-month mark, then from one month and one week onward, it slowly started coming down.................ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Fortunately Now that 50 days have passed since removal, I’m very satisfied with my nose. Since the ear cartilage and ear cartilage strut remain appropriately, it is so pretty and the shape too ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It is a third version of my nose, but I really like it so much, and I hear a lot that it is pretty lololol I regret so much that I should have just done only the nasal tip from the beginning..... Sigh.... Anyway, the contraction phase 100% comes whether it is early removal or just regular removal... What matters is that it all passes... I’m not sure about contractured noses, but they say with general removal, almost everything returns...
The last thing I want to say If it has been within 2 weeks since your rhinoplasty and you do not like the shape and feel severely anxious, remove it...................... Early removal is the answer ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Of course, consultation with a doctor is necessary... Anyway....ㅠㅠ I am very, very satisfied and I don’t think I’ll have any reason to come into this community anymore
+The removal clinic is the place where I had it done. It is not a removal-specialty clinic
