The top two photos are before removal, and the bottom two are how it looks today after removal. When it was taped, my nose felt pulled to one side or heavy, but after removing it, it feels so light, like I don’t even have a nose.
From the side, maybe because it’s still swollen, I actually feel like I like the shape a little more than before removal. From the front, it doesn’t seem that noticeable in the photos, but the nasal bridge has gotten wider. I was worried there might be a split in the bridge, and it does feel a bit broad, but not enough to be very noticeable haha. When I touch it, I can feel the bone slightly rounded, like when the silicone was there. I wonder if it’ll be different once the swelling goes down..? haha
They said the hump had grown a little, and I think because of that it also looks a bit more natural. Since I had the silicone for about 6-7 years, there is a slight square-shaped pressed mark, but when I feel the bone, it isn’t actually square, so I think this will naturally go back.
The hospital said that after about a week, the contraction period would start, and told me to do lots of warm compresses and massage, but I’m worried because my nose is already a bit short right nowㅠㅠ If only the swelling and bruising go down from how it looks now, I think it would be truly perfect, but if the nasal tip lifts, I think I’ll be so depressedㅠㅠㅠㅠ
I heard a lot of people say that if you remove it only because of anxiety about silicone, without ever having had any problems, you end up dissatisfied afterward, but I really love itㅠㅠㅠ I honestly wish I had taken it out sooner. For now, I really love how light my nose feels, and when I touch it, I love that I only feel my own bone, not the edge of the silicone haha
I’m a little worried about the contraction period going forward, but right now I’m 120% satisfied!!!
