I had double eyelid surgery around 2016, and I didn't have a specific eye shape in mind; I just felt like I needed double eyelids and went in. The good thing is that for people like me who have trouble making decisions, it's nice, because they look at your eyes and just decide the line for you. The downside is also that, because if you already have an eye shape you want, they might not do it that way. My eyes have still held up well even now, 5 years later. Sometimes when I cry a lot, they loosen a little, but they go right back. I don't really remember the price, so please just roughly look at it.
