Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Nose Lab community review

The worst… Even though I went earlier than my scheduled consultation time, I still had to wait quite a long time. I was told there had been surgery before me, so I just understood that part. The problem was the consultation. First, I took photos as instructed by the staff and then had a consultation with the doctor, but without even examining my nose in person more closely, he just looked at the photos and said he would use silicone, so I cut them off right there. For reference, I wanted a no-implant procedure, and no clinic had ever recommended silicone for my nose. In previous clinics, they had told me my nose had a slight hump and the nasal bone itself was solidly developed, so if someone recommended silicone, I should pass. But here they gave a careless, eyeballed explanation of the typical hump-nose surgery you can find online: osteotomy for the hump, silicone in, raise the tip, done. There was absolutely no reason for me to travel far and pay for an in-person consultation. I would not recommend them at minimum for patients who want a no-implant, closed hump-nose procedure. Also, the consultation staff casually suggested a receding chin and forehead surgery too, which was kind of ridiculousㅋㅋㅋㅋ It was never something I had even thought about, and in reality my face just looks normal by any standard. I even modeled for my school uniform at school, so I just wanted to fix the one complex I had about my nose, and I had no idea I’d get indirect face criticism and sales talk like that.
