Hello, I left reviews up to day 8 after removal, and I’m writing a review again after a long time. People’s minds are really fickle. Before removal, this was a place I visited dozens or hundreds of times a day to search and read posts, but after removal, once I was doing well without side effects, I only just remembered it and came back in. I’m leaving this post because I think there are still people who are suffering mentally over whether to remove their implant and searching posts every day. I removed an L-shaped silicone implant on February 11, about 10 years after my surgery. The hospital where I had originally done it removed it for me, and I only paid the anesthesia fee. At first I was very worried because I thought septal cartilage had also been inserted, but fortunately, when they did the removal surgery, it turned out that at the time they had repositioned the septum to insert the implant. The doctor said that now, after removing all the implant material, they repositioned it back to its original place. Also, I didn’t remove it because I had side effects or anything like that. Since a long time had passed, it felt like my skin was becoming see-through, and the psychological pressure got so big that I had it removed. Right up until just before removal, the director said there was no problem and asked if I was sure about removing it, and whether I could handle my appearance becoming worse later on (they didn’t say it exactly like that, but still). I said I wanted it removed because the mental stress was so severe that I felt like I was really going to develop a psychiatric illness. I thought about my nose all day long. Even when traveling overseas, I would worry, what if the implant suddenly protrudes through my nose? Even I think it was a bit severe. Anyway, I think it’s now almost been 3 months since removal, and after removal I’ve met my in-laws, friends, and acquaintances around me, but no one noticed. When I do makeup, I put my life into nose contouringㅎㅎ And camera apps are so good these days that when I take photos, I may look a little softer, but still, the contracture I prayed and prayed would not come has not come yet, so I really think that’s such a relief. Every time I went to the hospital for follow-ups, the director told me that the nose shape can change for 6 months to 1 year and taught me to massage it, but honestly I’m too lazy and don’t do it well. Still, I don’t think it has been pulled upward or anything like that. When I first had it removed, the swelling went down little by little and the nasal bridge did become somewhat much lower, but it’s still okay. These days my nose is soft, I can blow my nose well, pick my nose well, wash my face well, and do everything related to my nose freely. I finally feel like a living person again. The left is before the removal surgery, and the right is after the removal surgery. It looks similar, but the height came down and the tip, which used to be pointed, became much rounder. When I actually touch it, I can slightly feel where the nasal bridge was shaved during my previous nose surgery.
