I had everything removed from my nose yesterday. I joined this community about a month ago and was looking into removal, and finally had it done yesterday.
I had the ear cartilage and silicone removed, and I’m relieved because there seems to be less swelling than I expected.
I read so many reviews here, hoping that I could end up with results like those.
I had my surgery ten years ago, but this year it started looking too obvious and bothering me a lot, so I had it removed. The tip of my nose also bothered me because when I smiled, it looked too sharply pinched.
At first, I really agonized over whether to remove only the silicone or remove everything. Then I joined this community, found out about a few hospitals famous for removal, had consultations, and decided on surgery. The place where I had my first surgery would not have been a financial burden, but aside from that, I was so anxious about what would happen to my nose. At the hospital where I had my first surgery, the atmosphere was like they were discouraging me, saying they couldn’t guarantee the shape of my nose after removal. So I had the surgery at a hospital famous for removal, and as of now, I’m very satisfied with the result.
Before the surgery, I did feel a bit anxious. I imagined how unattractive I might look after the removal surgery.
But maybe because it’s only been one day, or maybe I’m the only one who can’t see that the bridge has dropped a lot, it looks totally fine to me.. haha I just wanted to take out the silicone, and because the cartilage tying made my nose look pinched, I wanted to improve that. I didn’t necessarily want to go all the way back to my original natural nose.
I had the surgery with a closed approach, so the director did say that the pinched nose wouldn’t change dramatically, but as of now, I’m very satisfied. Even though I had everything removed, the change in my impression isn’t too drastic, so I really like that. At my current state, I just hope the swelling around my eyes and between my eyebrows goes down haha
The bridge will probably gradually get lower, right? ..
I think the surgery took a little under two hours. After the surgery, they showed me the silicone and ear cartilage, so I confirmed them and felt so relieved. When they showed me the photo right after surgery, I really liked it, but I couldn’t show it haha
I don’t usually write reviews, but even though this is only how I look after one day, I’m so satisfied that I ended up writing this. I also got help from reading reviews here, so I’m leaving one too. I really hope everyone who is about to have removal has a successful surgery! hehe
