Review on day 6 after removing only the silicone

Surgical nose / day 4 after removal / day 6 after removal Surgical nose / day 6 after removal

You can refer to my previous posts for what has happened so far As soon as I woke up in the morning, I took off the tape and checked the shape of my nose first I had braced myself, but as expected, it's depressingㅠㅠ lol

Side profile line)

After removing the splint, the swelling seems to have gone down more in just two days, and it got lower. I liked my side line from two days ago...

I was worried about a visible boundary because I didn't touch the nasal tip cartilage Now, as the swelling is going down, it's not exactly forming a boundary, but it is changing into a beoseon-shaped upturned nose that rises sharply at the nasal tip. My original nose was also beoseon-shaped, so I think it will look similar, but with the nasal tip a bit higher.

Front view line) The fish-faced Avatar Moomin and so on that many people mentioned... that's me ㅠ ㅠ lol I hoped I would be lucky and end up somewhere between my surgical nose and my current nose, but it seems like it's just trying to go back to my original nose. It does feel wider than my original nose, whether that's swelling or compression. It hasn't even been a week yet, so I'm trying to think, time is the medicine~ ^^

My original nose had a low glabella area, so the starting point of the nose was low I got my nose raised because I didn't like looking young and round With my surgical nose, the bridge stood up at the glabella, and I liked that it made me look a bit sharper. So there is a sense of loss.. I won't say there isn't

If you are not removing it because you dislike the postoperative shape or because there is a major problem that requires removal, I think your feelings will be complicated like mine. Of course, for people who originally had some nasal bridge height, removal may look prettier afterward. So please decide on surgery carefully and manage your mindset well!

I think it's natural to feel dissatisfied aesthetically. After all, I had surgery to fix a complex in the first place... But from now on, I'm going to come into this community less too lol I'm going to take good care of my body, skin, and mind, nurture what is around me, and learn how to live loving myself whether my nose is high or low.

My mom tells me to look in the mirror every morning and say, ah, I'm pretty lol She says I was pretty before surgery, pretty when I had surgery, and I'm pretty now too... That whether my nose is high or low doesn't determine my beauty~! Maybe that's something only a mom can say, right? Even just looking at my husband, his reaction is a bit lukewarm..ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ Still, for now I'm holding onto those words, trying to stay strong and adapt.

Even so, the sense of freedom and confidence from no longer having an implant in my body is greater~!!

Unless a contracture phase comes, or some other concern or change happens, I don't think I'll post removal reviews anymore. I rambled on so people with cases similar to mine could use it as a reference.
