It’s been a month since I finished my orthodontic treatment!!! Ugh.. it was really exhausting...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The cost was 3.6 million won, and I didn’t have any extractions or screws done, and I got Clippy C braces! I found out about the clinic through counseling I got before on a community chat app! The nurses at the clinic were kind! But when I went once a month for checkups, the director would look at me once and decide what treatment to do, and then the dental hygienist would do scaling and change the wires. So there are really a lot of dental hygienists at the clinic.. (but I’m not sure if everyone there is a dental hygienist;) When it came time to attach the appliances, or if there was a problem, the director would take a look..ㅎ Still, I ended up with straight teeth ㅋㅋㅋ The reason I got braces was! I worked at a dental clinic for 6 months (not the one where I got braces) and my molars on both sides were.. completely crookedㅠ But the other teeth didn’t really need orthodontic treatment..? It was almost entirely because of the molars. And my jaw was a bit protruded, so I did it with the hope that braces might improve that to some extent!
But I wasn’t someone whose lower teeth stuck out more than the upper teeth, so I’m not sure if my jaw changed much ㅋㅋㅋ Actually, when I was wearing the braces, I got used to them so I was fine, but after going once a month to get them changed, when they tightened my teethㅠㅠ and when my teeth moved, it hurt so much... At first, even eating one bite of kimchi hurt ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I remember crying while eating boneless fried chicken because it hurt .. But once you keep getting the braces adjusted regularly, you get somewhat used to it.. even if it hurts, you start thinking, “I can still eat,” and ㅋㅋㅋㅋI ate hard And.. after changing the orthodontic wires once a month..! They do check whether the wire is poking near the molars, but a few days later the wireㅠㅠㅠ sticks out and it really hurts. It tears the flesh a little and there’s a bit of blood too.. I saw that a few times ㅠㅠ Every time you go.. make sure to thoroughly check with your tongue whether the wire is poking(?) you..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
And! I also had a hard time when the braces were removed ㅠ When they were taking off the adhesive stuck to my teeth.. Ugh!!! I hated it so much, but I kept telling myself just endure this, this is the last thing and it’ll be over, and I held on with my fingers interlocked ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I haven’t had any cosmetic surgery yet.. the only thing I’ve had done is orthodontic treatment, so I tried my best to write this review..
