Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Nplus review from a community

I had functional and cosmetic surgery together about 2 years ago. First, from early on there was something bulging out in my nostril, so I asked during a follow-up whether it was scar tissue or what, and they said there was swelling so we should watch it. But it stayed the same even after time passed, and after going around for revision consultations, I found out it was bulging because the septal extension was completely deviated. Until around 6 months, the nasal tip shape was okay, but the nasal tip gradually drooped, and once the swelling went down, the deviation became so obvious. They said they would use donated dermis because it could show through, but whether they used it or not, there is cartilage show-through. They also said they would do osteotomy, but when I got a CT scan, no osteotomy had been doneㅋㅋㅋ During the consultation, they never said they would use ear cartilage from both sides, but on the day of surgery they used cartilage from both ears. After going to consultations at other hospitals, I was told there’s no usable cartilage left, so from the second surgery onward I’d have to use autologous costal cartilageㅎ Thanks to that, I’m about to spend even more just on revision surgery.
