Nose Surgery@rhino

First Button community review

It was my first visit for a consultation about male functional rhinoplasty for rhinitis, and I think it was good. First I went and got a CT scan, then I consulted with the director. The director explained the basic information well before I met the doctor. There was no push for surgery or anything like that, and it was neat and straightforward. However, since it was my first consultation, I didn’t know much and couldn’t ask as much as I wanted, which was a pity. Then I had the consultation with the doctor, and because he is an ENT specialist, I felt reassured. He showed me models and explained things easily. The functional problems with my nose were septal deviation, nasal valve stenosis, and inferior turbinate?? In total, three things came up. As for the cosmetic side, because my nose is short and upturned, he said they would lower it a bit using the septum, and I think he mentioned about 3 mm of silicone in the glabella area. Since I hadn’t been specific about the nose angle I wanted, I think that’s why he explained it that way. I also asked about alar reduction, and he said the proportions were already fine, so it was okay, and that he wouldn’t really recommend it. He also mentioned slightly lifting the sides of the nostrils. After the consultation, I ended up having a lot of questions, so I’m thinking of going back for a second consultation. The doctor was kind and nice. The director was also neat and didn’t push reservations or anything. I plan to visit again for another consultation when I have time.
