The director was really kind, and the staff were kind too, but the counseling director was not kind and had a very businesslike feeling (I think she would have been kind if I said I was going to have surgery, but for someone who was just thinking about it, she felt cold...). I liked that they took photos from many angles and also did a CT scan for the consultation. During the consultation with the director, he looked at the CT and said my septum was smaller than average, so if I used ear cartilage, shaved down the hump, and had osteotomy, it would probably turn out well, and he showed me similar case photos too. The explanation was kind and easy for someone like me who didn’t know much to understand. But when I got home and looked it up, I saw that osteotomy definitely has the issue of functional side effects, and that I would need to keep cotton in my nose for about two days, so I chose not to do it.
