About a year ago, I had a no-implant nasal tip surgery with cartilage inserted (not the well-regarded septal extension procedure). Starting about a month after the cosmetic surgery, as the swelling went down, the previously smooth line became bumpy. From the front there was basically no difference at all, and only the side view changed somewhat, but once the swelling went down and the line became bumpy, even my acquaintances didn’t realize I had had nose surgery. I honestly don’t know what I paid for.
When I later asked, they said that since it was no-implant, there was nothing they could do. They said I’d need silicone if I wanted to keep a smooth line. I didn’t want silicone in the first place, but I wish they had told me before the surgery.
Also, during the operation, one nursing assistant in the anesthesia room was extremely rude. She pulled my arm hard and her tone was sharp, which made me feel very unpleasant. The front desk staff were kind.
They said one year of free A/S was possible, but I don’t expect it to get better, so I probably won’t do it.
The advantage is that I think the doctor was an otolaryngology specialist, or so I was told. That made me trust them. In fact, after the surgery, it didn’t hurt much. At the consultation stage, I thought there was probably no place better than this hospital, but it seems there are different hospitals that suit different people.
