I originally had severe facial asymmetry and a prognathic jaw, so my entire face looked sharp and intense. My appearance complex was quite severe—I was even nicknamed Dr. Marvin throughout elementary, middle, and high school T_T I was naturally very thin, with a small frame and little confidence in my appearance, but after much deliberation I had double-jaw surgery and two facial-contouring procedures at [Clinic A]. Recovery had difficult moments, but over time the asymmetry improved, my jawline and overall facial shape became more refined, and I’m very satisfied. Most surprising is how people around me react differently. I’ve even been told I look gentler than before, and it seems people’s gazes have changed, which somehow makes me stand taller haha. I used to have little desire to dress up because I lacked confidence in my appearance, but now I want to exercise seriously and build up my body too. Gaining confidence in my appearance has made me want to take better care of myself. For me, this was a change far beyond simply changing my facial shape, so I’m satisfied that I had surgery at [Clinic A].
