Review of orthodontic treatment for severely irregular teeth and crooked teeth (no photos)

First, I received orthodontic treatment at a dental clinic near my home that specializes in orthodontics. My teeth were extremely irregular and I also had crooked teeth, enough for people to tease me by comparing me to Jung Joon-ha T_T When I read reviews and saw that some people had screw-like anchors placed in their gums, I became very anxious T_T because I’m a big coward. I had four teeth extracted, was tightened with string elastics, and had blue resin blobs attached behind my upper front teeth so that my teeth would bite properly—whatever that is called, I had that too. When those blue blob-like things were first attached, they were so uncomfortable that my teeth couldn’t adapt and even trembled. I could barely eat, and every monthly tightening felt like someone repeatedly pressing on a bruised spot. Even my molars touching each other was extremely painful T_T But because I went consistently once a month without missing visits, it ended after about one year and ten or eleven months, without even taking two years. After that, I wore my retainers properly for another year or two and then escaped haha. Orthodontics got rid of my protruding mouth and completely changed me.. It just changed my overall impression.. I can never look at old photos.
