Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

One-month review of chin advancement surgery at Yang Yoon-dol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

I have a protruding upper jaw and a recessed lower jaw, so I was a bimaxillary surgery case, but honestly, double-jaw surgery felt burdensome in terms of both cost and time, so I looked into chin advancement surgery! I wanted to have it done safely at an oral surgery clinic, and since the reviews for chin advancement were just as satisfying as those for double-jaw surgery, I chose it. There is not a huge difference from the front (I already had a fairly slim face and did not have a severe square jaw), but from a 45-degree angle and from the side, the chin advancement is noticeable. Even when my mouth is closed, I do not look sullen, and it feels natural, so I am extremely satisfied!!! It is dramatic!! Since there is not a big difference from the front, acquaintances asked why I had it done, but after seeing me after surgery, everyone said it turned out really naturally! I am one month post-op, and I feel that all the swelling has gone down. I have no discomfort when talking or moving, and I can eat hard foods just fine~ I spent so long worrying because I was scared, and now I feel that I should have done it sooner haha.
