Revision rhinoplasty consultation review at ㅊㅇ Plastic Surgery

ㅊㅇ - Director ㅂㅇㄱ

I arrived earlier than my original appointment time, waited, filled out what I needed to fill out, took photos, and then they told me to come into the consultation room, so I waited for the director. First, a female consultant came in and consulted with me first, asking about the nose shape I wanted and why I wanted surgery (no contracture, a nose I wanted for cosmetic reasons). After talking about various things, she told me to wait for the director... I waited quite a while. I started getting a bit bored.

In the middle, the female consultant came back in and asked me to wait just a little longer. Something about the consultation before me, this and that - I wasn’t there as a part-timer. So I asked them to please hurry a bit (the waiting time was too long), and she smiled, said, "Please wait," and just left. I was kind of dumbfounded.

Later, the director came in. As soon as he came in, he mechanically touched my nose, only talked about his own opinion, and said what he could do for me. The important thing is, he didn’t ask me what kind of nose shape I wanted or why I wanted revision surgery. He just rattled off his own opinions. No matter what I asked, it felt like he kept repeating the same thing... At the end, I asked, how do we decide between a straight-with-slight-curve shape and a semi-upturned nose shape? He said we could do that later... huh?

He said he would definitely use silicone for the nasal bridge, and that he would never use those kinds of implants.

He showed me review photos, but the before photos were of people whose noses had a lot of contracture. He made those noses, which had contracture before surgery, into ordinary noses without contracture. His skill was outstanding. They looked very natural. (But there was no glamorous feel.) I was a bit confused why he showed me contracted noses... (I have no contracture at all.) He showed me other review photos too, but I didn’t really like them.

After seeing the review photos and hearing the director talk, I had already lost interest. My 10,000 won consultation fee, my timeㅠㅠ

The director hurried out, and the female consultant came in to talk about the price. It came out to 7.5 million won, and she said even that was the event price. She said I had to upload all the photos to apps (Babi*, Gangnam**) and upload several photos to a blog too. She said there was a separate person in charge of that. Since it was a place I was going to rule out anyway, I didn’t even ask how much of my face had to be revealed, how many photos were required, or how much it would be if it wasn’t the event price.

It started at 4, and I think I waited a total of 40 minutes. The consultation ended at 5:30.

This was a place with good reviews, but that’s the end of my consultation review for a hospital I was very disappointed in.
