After <My nose kept getting lower after surgery... and it was so hard...> After finally spending 2 to 3 months going to consultations and researching online, I had everything removed.. The biggest reason I chose this hospital was that they said it could be done with a closed approach... and the doctor himself seemed like someone very meticulous, so I went with him....
Before surgery, I had a low nose with a hump... After surgery, I spent painful days with a crooked nose, a hard nose, intermittent itching, tingling, and necrosis, etc... Even now, whenever I think of that hospital, I still get angry. For the surgery, I had rib particles placed on the nasal bridge, costal cartilage at the nasal tip, and rib particles in the paranasal area... I posted about the post-op situation under plastic surgery failure cases, so please refer to it..~ The part where they said it would get better if I waited ultimately did not get better, and as the air layers between the rib particles escaped over time, the paranasal area felt like stone... and the nose also felt like stone... Maybe because of that, it kept turning into a droopy, arrow-shaped nose.. That doctor said that after time passed, it would become like my own.. haha And when I talked about a refund, he said he would remove it for me.. When I said I would not, he said even if I went elsewhere, they would not be able to remove it; he said other people went elsewhere to get removal, could not get it removed, bent back down, and came back.... But I think my removal went really well? lol
In conclusion, I think the doctor removed everything he could see.. I think it went well.. Unlike silicone, it was autologous cartilage, so it must have been difficult to remove because it had adhered here and there to the skin... I was shocked when I saw the removed material. The blue part had been at the nasal tip, and the costal cartilage and rib particles had adhered together... so that is why the nasal tip was blunt and hard... And the rib particles were spread here and there... At this point, I think this is a dangerous surgical method haha It was removed through a closed approach on both sides, and the paranasal material was removed through an intraoral incision.. The surgery took about 3 hours and 30 minutes, and until now, whenever I came out after surgery, I often felt nauseated because of the anesthesia, but this time it seems to have passed without any particular problems.. On the day of surgery, my nose felt numb and blocked, so my mouth opened while I was sleeping, but since there was no nasal packing, it was still bearable~~ The next day, I went in, had the pooled blood in my nose removed, and received antibiotics... I am currently on day 8, and the swelling is going down well without any particular problems.. The intermittent tingling and itching have disappeared... Ah.. I also had cartilage suturing. My original nose had a hump, so the nasal tip was slightly drooping.. From the cartilage suturing to the incision sites, everything was done with dissolvable sutures... After removal, maybe because of swelling, my nose felt very soft, but as the swelling is going down little by little, it seems a bit less so. I think this will resolve with time... There is still some of the scar tissue-like tissue that had been inside the nostrils before... The scar tissue was not completely removed, but I am just planning to accept it and live with it.. The area with scar tissue and the actual incision area were different.. There will probably be a contraction period ahead, and the shape may change again, but based on how it feels now, I do not think deformation will occur... Also, the photo angles are a bit different... In reality, I think it is a little lower than in the photos... I will upload more photos again later.. I received a lot of help from this community, so I am posting this review because I also want to help others.. I hope everyone who is suffering because of their nose can get everything resolved well..^_^ And... there are many hospitals in the world, but not many humane doctors..... It is worth being suspicious of places that advertise a lot.. hahaha... Just because you get plastic surgery does not mean it will all go well..ㅜ.ㅜ.. Your life can be swayed by a doctor’s hands... so I really hope you are careful.. Please go to many consultations yourself and do a lot of research online... At the very least, choose a hospital that will respond well if a problem occurs later and will not turn its back on you... Go to that kind of hospital... What I most want to recommend is... if you are not going to become a celebrity, I would recommend just living with the face you were born with.. haha
