Hehehehehe I had surgery around mid-July the year before last, and since the nasal hump was my biggest concern, I wanted hump removal + nasal bridge and nasal tip augmentation! They said an osteotomy wasn’t really necessary, so I had the surgery as the director suggested! For the nasal bridge, I got 2 mm silicone, and for the nasal tip, they used ear cartilage and septal cartilage to raise it by 4 mm.
I said I wanted it to be somewhat higher rather than too dramatic, but straight and natural-looking. At first, I wondered, “Isn’t 2 mm for the bridge and 4 mm for the tip higher than I expected? Can this really come out natural?” But the director said my nasal bridge itself was higher than I thought and that this amount would be appropriate, so in the end I trusted them and had the surgery. Thinking about it now, I’m so glad I did as they said
Also, my eyesight is really bad, so I normally wear thick glasses at home. Since the lenses are very heavy, I was a bit worried that after surgery they might press on my nasal bridge and hurt. For the first 1-2 months, I lived wearing contact lenses even at home, and now that half a year has passed, I’m wearing glasses. The discomfort from pressure is less than I worried about, and it feels almost the same as before. Actually, since my nasal bridge is higher now, my glasses slide down less, so it’s more comfortable hehe
For the nasal tip, all the firm swelling has gone down, so if I apply a little force, it moves around well! When I touch it, it really feels like my own nose, so sometimes I even forget I had surgery...
In the past, I really avoided and disliked taking side-profile photos, but now I think my side profile comes out the prettiest hehe My face looks much more three-dimensional too sob sob I’m completely satisfied
