My first surgery + revision surgery were done at the same hospital, and then 8 years later, I had it removed somewhere else!
When I looked people straight in the eye, I kept worrying by myself that maybe they could tell my nose was crooked... When I took a front-facing photo, wow!! The silicone was totally crookedㅜㅜ
I thought about it so much, but looking in the mirror was stressing me out, so I decided to remove it.
I hope this helps! I was really worried, but so far there haven’t been any problems~~ I left the nasal tip cartilage and septum in place....^^;; I think the surgery took less than 30 minutes. It ended quickly, then off to the recovery room~~!!
It felt like the crooked silicone was slightly pressing on one nostril, and somehow breathing feels more open and refreshing now. They said the swelling will go down a little more over the course of a month.
The bridge between my eyes has definitely gotten much lower, but I feel relieved... Unless I say it first, no one knows I had it removed ....lol People don’t stare through other people’s noses, after all. I’m going to try hard to cover it with makeup ... :-)
Since the glabella got lower, my face seems to look shorter. When my nasal bridge was high, it looked longer, but now it has a slightly rounder effect, so I think I look younger. It became a beoseon-style nose line, so now it’s a cute nose. For people who don’t have nasal tip issues, I think simply removing only the silicone could be good... I was worried about the nose line, but fortunately the end part of the silicone was thin, so it seems to have connected well~~☆
