I had surgery at that plastic surgery clinic, now closed, that used to be advertised by Kwanghee and was run by a nursing assistant representative. I saw so many posts about side effects, but I think with large hospitals it really depends case by case... I had no side effects at all, the shape came out really well, and I'm extremely satisfied!
I had the implants placed under the muscle, with an armpit incision. Dermabond was used, and I have no scar at all. At the time I went as large as possible, so now I'm a D cup.
1. For about a week after surgery, I was so swollen and in so much pain that I seriously worried whether I needed to have the implants removed again. Since I slept sitting up, my butt would go numb and I kept waking up. When driving, every speed bump and curve felt like I was going to pass out.
2. Right after surgery, the nerves on the back side felt slightly numb, but everything came back within 3 months.
3. After 3 months, almost all the swelling went down, so the breast shape started to show and the feel started getting better. Within a year, the feel became really good and the shape fully settled, and they felt like my own breasts. Once the swelling went down, my breasts felt small haha.
4. After a month, all the pain had disappeared. To the point that pressing or squeezing them didn't hurt? The foreign-body sensation also disappeared. So I finally started sleeping on my side!! I sleep well only when I curl up like a shrimpㅠㅠ Still, when I exercise now, especially when jogging, if my breasts bounce, the silicone bounces too, so it feels a bit intense up and downㅋㅋㅋ
5. I'm now in my 7th year, and honestly I have no side effects at all, the shape is very natural and turned out well, so I'm very satisfied. It's been a long time since I forgot I even had surgery. When getting breast cancer screening, it was actually better. Because of the silicone, screening is easier. So don't worry too much!! Regular checkups are essential.
6. Breastfeeding! I was able to breastfeed well with no problems at all, but my breasts became implants plus twice as large, so it was a bit hard. I had to pump out all the breast milk. But after that, my breasts got smaller. Is it just my imagination...??
I live in the U.S., and everyone thinks my breasts are real~ Korean medical technology seems so good :) And time is the medicine~~ The more time passes, the more natural they become. Both the feel and the shape.
