I had my previous nose surgery at a hospital that did otolaryngology and plastic surgery at the same time. It was a gift from my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary... but it was a complete failure. I developed capsular contracture and the silicone was twisting, so I went crying for a revision rhinoplasty consultation at Banobagi one year after the surgery. I went because I had heard that Director Lee Hyun-taek was famous for revision rhinoplasty, but the consultation manager was hell! They pushed all kinds of surgeries and procedures, and I didn’t get the sense that they really knew things properly; they seemed like a beginner, so I wanted to leave, but the consultation with the director was very good. He kindly explained everything in detail so I wouldn’t feel anxious.
My inflammation and capsular contracture were both severe, so he said we should remove the implant, irrigate the inflammation, and wait at least 6 months until the nasal tip becomes soft. I had the surgery, and it ended very well.
