Review of complete nasal implant removal

After <immediately after surgery><current (7 hours after surgery)> After <after surgery><removed silicone and ear cartilage> Before <before surgery> Before <front view before surgery> Before <side view before surgery> Before <lateral view before surgery> After <front view immediately after surgery> Hello. I received information from many people in this community and felt grateful, so I’m posting this in hopes it may help even a little. I had everything removed today. (L-shaped silicone + ear cartilage removal)

There were two surgical options. 1. With an open approach, remove the silicone and ear cartilage, then harvest septal cartilage for the nasal tip and insert a septal support graft to raise the tip a lot 2. With a closed approach, remove both the silicone and ear cartilage and only do cartilage repositioning

After thinking it over, I ultimately proceeded with option 2. I felt that if I had surgery using septal cartilage, I would be stressed by the foreign-body sensation and hardness, and I never wanted to open up my nose again. Even if I became a little less attractive, I wanted to live with peace of mind, so I had everything removed.

- I bruise easily, so the bruising and swelling are no joke. The bridge of my nose is very swollen, so it feels soft and squishy when I touch it, and the nasal ala area looks like a big bulbous nose lol

- Since it was a closed approach, the incision was made inside the nose. It’s very swollen, so my nostrils have become a bit uneven, but I think this will gradually return as the swelling goes down, so I’m going to watch the progress.

- They used dissolvable sutures, so I don’t need to visit the clinic separately. I’m planning to visit the clinic in 1 month to check the progress.

Silicone, which I lived with for 10 years, I’m so happy to be free from you... Everyone, please don’t get nose surgery. Even if it’s a little imperfect, natural is the most beautiful and pretty! I’ll upload progress photos in 2 weeks. I hope my review helps everyone even a little!

* I’m uploading this review on my smartphone, so please understand that the photos are out of order.
