Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Leaving my final review!

After<Nose after removal 1>After<Nose after removal 2 (the photo is tilted so my eyes showㅠ that scar is a Snow effect!)>Hello, it’s been a while since I stopped by this community cafe! Maybe because I definitely feel more at ease after removal, I think I end up completely forgetting about it. Still, when I sometimes think about my nose, the first thing that comes to mind is this community. I think many people are still worried about nose implant removal and are going through a lot emotionally. To help ease(?) those worries and concerns even a little, I’ll write down what I felt after removal!

What I removed: silicone (I don’t remember how many mm, probably 3 mm..!, and nasal tip septal cartilage, support strut removal) \ 1. Change in nose shape after removal? -> If you go through my ID and look at my old posts, there are photos from before nose surgery! Before cosmetic nose surgery, I had a completely bulbous nose, and after surgery my nasal tip did improve, but because of the silicone my eyes looked pulled together, which changed my image and I hated that. Above all, I couldn’t tolerate that hard foreign-body sensation, so I think I was anxious every day. For the shape after nose removal, for about the first week my nasal bridge was really so gone it was almost just flat? so I even considered filler, but it turned out to be swelling. After a little time passed, it returned to my old nasal bridge! My bridge isn’t extremely high, but I’m just going to live satisfied with it like this now haha.. The most fascinating thing was that my nasal tip was originally really big and bulbous, but after nose removal, the side of my nose (not the front view of the nose) became pointed, so I really liked it! The side of my nose used to be round, but it improved a little, so it’s fascinating and satisfying that it can change just from removal!

2. Piggy nose? feeling after nose removal? -> For about two weeks after nose removal, the nose feels like clay, like it might flow downward, and it’s extremely soft. At that time you’re not supposed to irritate or touch the nose, but I was curious so I touched it lightly..! And now that almost eight months have passed, I think it differs depending on the condition day and night. Sometimes (really sometimes), when I wake up in the morning, the nasal tip feels a little hard? not entirely absent, but it’s not the hardness of having a foreign material inside, so it isn’t uncomfortable. Often it loosens by evening, I don’t feel any foreign-body sensation at all, and I can move the nasal tip left and right! To be honest, I can’t fully make a piggy nose. It only lifts about 30%? Still, since I don’t pay attention to my nose, piggy nose or whatever, it’s just my nose, so I stopped caring about piggy nose and haven’t really worried about it haha.. Now I love it because it’s my own nose, and I’m very satisfied!

3. Scars after removal surgery: -> Both my surgery and removal surgery were open approach! Since it is also the most definite method, I decided on it. After surgery, the open incision mark is still slightly there, but I’ve been applying Cica cream consistently so it’s fading, and now if I wear makeup it just doesn’t show! Regarding scars, I think they heal faster if you keep applying the ointment recommended by the hospital and take your vitamins well!

I think that’s everything I felt and wanted to tell you! If you have any questions, please leave a comment or message me! There are always difficult times, and I think those difficult times eventually pass and are forgotten. Everyone, stay strong, and I hope things go well for you!
