I went to plastic surgery clinics and a university hospital for a month because of nose pain It got better after taking antibiotics from the university hospital, but the pain came back As I got older, the crookedness became much more noticeable, and when lying on my side it shifted to one side
After consultations at 4 places, I decided to have it removed
I didn’t have time, so I had surgery in the afternoon
Sedation + local anesthesia (While under sedation, I saw all kinds of rooms;;; colorful patterned rooms kept changing, then I woke up from anesthesia and finished the surgery)
On the day of surgery, my mouth was extremely dry You definitely need to bring water There was no swelling
Day 1, swelling started (The swelling was not as bad as I thought) There was almost no bruising, and I walked for 1 hour each in the morning and afternoon The nasal congestion was really hard ㅠ
After splint removal, I felt like I could live again All the stitches were removed well There is no upturning or shape change in particular The glabella area has lowered, but my forehead looks more protruding and rounded
In photos, there doesn’t seem to be a major change The glabella definitely went down a lot, but my face looks more comfortable
They said it will change as swelling goes down over 2–3 months~ I’m satisfied with the removal, and with no particular problems, I’ll start wearing makeup from tomorrow^^
