I had rhinoplasty 7 years ago with silicone and ear cartilage~
It did become higher, but the glabella became too high, so it looked awkward, and the augmented part showed as a straight line (they said it showed through because my skin is thin). Um~ it was so obvious!!! and an unattractive nose was bornㅠㅠ Because I was so scared at the time of surgery, I couldn't bring myself to have revision surgery. I also thought and thought about removal, and then I decided I couldn't live like this and just went for it.
First, I went to the hospital where I had the surgery, and they said they would remove it if I only paid the anesthesia fee, but the director had changed a lot over the 7 yearsㅠ They recommended autologous dermis, but when I asked about side effects of dermis, they only said good things, so I didn't really trust themㅠㅠ So I decided to look for another hospital, and through an acquaintance's recommendation, I went to a hospital in my neighborhood. Um... they had used L-shaped silicone (I... found that out that dayㅠ sob sobㅠㅠ), and they said my nose was hard and pulling, and although it had been okay so far, problems could arise later, so they thought I had made a good decision to consider removal!! It cost a bit more, but so far I am satisfied!!
During surgery, there was an area where the anesthesia had not fully taken, so it was absolutely awful (I'm the type who can tolerate most pain well, but wow, this really hurt so much I couldn't help making soundsㅠㅠ), but I could feel that the doctor was working hard to remove it, so that was good.
I wanted complete removal, but the doctor kept saying it would be better to leave the cartilage as is (even during surgeryㅎㅎ), so I left the ear cartilage in place.
After taking it out, it looks much more natural and I really like it. But there is still swelling... it will keep going down, rightㅜㅠ sob sob Already, when I compare it with the photo from the day of surgery, I can see it has become muuuuch lowerㅎㅎ These days I am praying only for the nasal tip to shrink down~~ Even if it gets a lot lower, now I'll just live with the face I was born withㅎㅎ Even if it's an ugly nose, my own nose is the best!!
