The reason for removal was silicone inflammation, and the details are in my previous post! Usually, after removing only the silicone, people don't seem to wear a splint, but I wonder if I have to keep the splint on until the day my stitches are removed.. It's so uncomfortable.
I'm so scared of how it will look after removing the splint that I can't even sleep wellㅠㅠ They said they inserted about 1 mm at the glabella area and about 4 mm in the slightly deeper area. The swelling is definitely less than when I had the surgery, and it feels less stuffy too. Since I left only the nasal tip, I'm worried it will become a bulbous nose, so I think I look in the mirror dozens of times a day.. I really want to stop everyone who is thinking about rhinoplastyㅠㅠ What is certain is that now that the silicone has been removed, the foreign-body sensation has definitely disappeared. I do sometimes have stabbing pain.
