One-Month Review After Nose Surgery

I’m approaching two months after my nose surgery. I had surgery for deviated septum + inferior turbinate resection + nasal valve reconstruction + osteotomy + nasal tip (septal cartilage + ear cartilage) + nasal bridge (4~4.5 mm silicone). I decided to have surgery because I had a bulbous nose and my nasal tip was too wide, which made my nose look even bigger, and I didn’t like that. At the hospital, they said my skin was thick, so they wouldn’t be able to make it very slim, and I had the surgery while keeping that in mind. After surgery, until the day the splint was removed, just like everyone else, I couldn’t breathe through my nose and had a hard time. Starting from week 2, my nose began to smell. So I went in for a visit and they looked with an endoscope, and they said it was the smell of scabs. They also told me to do nasal irrigation. For 5 days after starting nasal irrigation, because of yellow nasal discharge + nasal congestion, I couldn’t breathe through my nose and had to breathe through my mouth, and the smell was still there. So I went to an ENT clinic and got examined. My mucous membrane was very swollen, pus had collected and caused inflammation, and during the rhinitis surgery, in the part where the inferior turbinate is cut, they should have cut an appropriate amount, but they cut too much. They said breathing would become more comfortable, but it would be dry, I would get a lot of boogers, and because a lot of mucous membrane was cut away, my recovery would be slower than other people’s. So I was prescribed a week’s worth of antibiotics and other medication, and it has gotten a lot better.

Now what I’m worried about is the area where the ear cartilage was taken from. I’m approaching two months, but the incision area where they took the ear cartilage still hurts. And sometimes my nasal tip has a tingling, stinging sensation. Is that normal? ㅠㅠ I’m so worried.
