Hello! After a few months had passed since the removal, I stopped coming into this community and was getting by okay, but I felt a bit regretful, and while reading revision surgery reviews I thought of it, so I’m writing a review!!
I had an L-shaped implant + ear cartilage, 2.5 mm on the nasal bridge and 5 mm at the nasal tip, and it was a re~ally long L-shaped silicone implant at the tip!!
I had it for about 7 years, but suddenly my nasal dorsum turned white, and when I went from a cold place to a warm place, it would turn red and swell overall.... If I even drank alcohol, my nose would hurtㅠㅠ
I only found out it was L-shaped when I got a CT scan before trying to remove it;; Anyway, from about 6 months after removal, even if I drink or the temperature changes, it’s fine! But my impression has become a bit softer, and the slightly sophisticated look is gone, so I do feel very regretful....ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I had the capsule removed as well, and I think the swelling went down gradually over almost a year. I’m the type who swells easily, so the major swelling took 3 to 6 months!
It didn’t get as much lower as I expected.... But after taking it out, I realized my nose had been a bit crooked and looked quite obvious. I didn’t really feel a contraction period, but thinking back, for about 3 to 4 months, my nasal tip may have been slightly lifted. But my original nose was a bit droopy, and my tip is on the plump side, so I also think it may have looked prettier when it was a little lifted haha...
For about 3 months after removal, I really hated looking at my nose... I still kind of dislike it, so I’m dietingㅜ
The whitening of the nasal dorsum is still there, but I don’t think there were any major side effects!!!
I don’t think I can come often, but if anyone is in a similar situation to me and leaves questions in the comments, I’ll come answer from time to time haha I also worried for over a year and went through a lot emotionally...! I hope everyone gets their implants removed safely and lives with peace of mind!
