Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

If I had rhinitis surgery, is rhinoplasty automatically considered revision surgery?

A while ago, when I was in the military, a military doctor talked me into getting rhinitis surgery, so I had it done.

These days I’m having consultations because I’m looking into rhinoplasty, and they said that because of the rhinitis surgery I had before, my deviated septum is a bit bent/crooked.

They suggested these 2 options: taking rib cartilage and grafting it, or taking dermis from the buttock (is that right?) and grafting it. But they said the buttock area is more like a chunk of flesh, so the shape might not come out well.

Anyway, the price difference between the rib and buttock options is also unbelievably huge lol

I’m curious whether, if you’ve had rhinitis surgery before, anything nose-related is automatically considered revision surgery
