Hello, I'm on day 11 after revision surgery. I posted a detailed review in the rhinoplasty surgery review section, but strictly speaking, it was nose removal/reconstruction, so I'm posting a brief one here too. Before surgery, I didn't even know there was a nose removal/reconstruction category. So I didn't know about the three major places famous for removal. After surgery, while reading various reviews, I found out there was a separate removal/reconstruction category. If I had looked for a hospital in the removal/reconstruction category from the beginning, I think I definitely would have had it done at one of the three major places. Fortunately, maybe the hospital was a good fit for me, and I safely completed the reconstructive surgery. My contracture was severe, and the silicone was protruding slightly. I had the silicone + septal cartilage removed, and had surgery again using ear cartilage + fascia. Because the inflammation and contracture were severe, I was very worried whether surgery would restore it to how it was, but maybe because the director has a lot of experience, I think they did a good job. When there was swelling, I was so shocked that I came to this community almost every day, looking at reviews and question posts and worrying. But yesterday, seeing how it looked after the swelling went down, I felt relieved, and naturally I haven't been coming to this community as much. There are so many heartbreaking posts in the removal/reconstruction forum and reviews, and I hope everyone gets good results as soon as possible.
