It has been 6 days since the removal, so I went and had my stitches taken out today. Getting the stitches removed hurtㅠㅠㅠ I almost cried... For my first surgery, I had silicone for the nasal bridge / donated costal cartilage + septal cartilage for the nasal tip, with septal extension, ear cartilage placed on the nasal tip, soft tissue removal, and alar reduction. I wrote a previous post with detailed information including the consultation results before removal, so please refer to that! The removal was done on the 23rd at 10 o'clock at one of the top three clinics, and since I had double-jaw surgery before my nose surgery, I had damage to the anterior nasal spine. Because of that, they left a small amount of the septal cartilage using the septal splint method and removed the rest completely. I did want complete removal, but I dislike the idea of problems like collapse happening even more, so I am not particularly bothered by what was left. At the final consultation before the removal surgery, because my original nose was an upturned nose, I asked if they could lower it through cartilage repositioning to a shape somewhere between my original nose and my surgical nose. As you can see from the photos, it came down more than my original nose. In my case, I did not remove it because I was unhappy with the shape of my surgical nose. I removed it simply because of psychological anxiety, so I have no dissatisfaction at all with the current shape, which is a subtle mix of my surgical nose and original nose, and I feel at ease as if something has been resolved. After removing the stitches today, the director said everything went well and that we should have a follow-up consultation at week 3, so I will post again at week 3! However, as I emphasized in my last post, if you have already gathered a certain amount of information, I recommend staying away from this cafe until surgery. I was also extremely anxious, lost more than 5 kg in a month, cried every day, and could not go about daily life at all, but once I stopped coming into this community, my mind stabilized and I recovered a lot of my daily life.
