There weren’t many reviews, so it seemed like a lot of people were worried, so I brought my surgery review!! First of all, I’m on day 5 after surgery right now!
When I told people I know that I was getting nose surgery, they said absolutely do not put in silicone, because if it gets too high, my face could end up looking like that “Gangnam beauty” meme(?) So I told the director no matter what..! please make it look natural! (On the day of surgery, I did say that since I was getting surgery anyway, I wanted it to look glamorous, but the director stopped me)
The surgery I had was deviated septum + rhinitis + autologous dermis (between the eyebrows) + septal cartilage (nasal tip) + osteotomy! On the day of surgery, it hurt when the anesthesia wore offㅠ But it’s pain you can tolerate.. I’m someone who hates pain more than anything in the world... so the fact that I endured it means other people can definitely endure it too!!ㅋㅋㅋ Actually, the ear area where they harvested the autologous dermis hurt more because it touched the pillow when I slept! My nose didn’t hurt.. (interesting)
As soon as I went into the operating room and lay down, one person tied my hair and another connected an IV to my arm! And as soon as the director came into the operating room, he looked at my face and then put in the anesthetic. While I was asleep, they trimmed my nose hairs, did an antibiotic test on my foot, and started the surgery! (The surgery took about 1 hour 30 minutes to 40 minutes)
When the surgery is over, they move you to the inpatient room in a wheelchair (I don’t remember well..ㅋㅋㅋ). As I was coming to, I kept coughing so muchㅠㅠ The nurse said I shouldn’t cough, but it kept coming out.. sigh After 30 minutes, the manager brought me water, and when I was a bit more awake, the director came in and told me what my nose was like and what method he used for the surgery! (so kind)
And since the admission time was 6 hours, I lay down and rested until the admission time was over, then received medicine, cold packs, and so on, and was discharged!
I didn’t have as much swelling or bruising as I expected. Tomorrow is the day I get the splint and stitches removed, and I’m excited..ㅎㅎㅎ I’ll try to bring a photo review tomorrow too ❤︎ I’m not good at writing, so I just wrote whatever came to mind.
