It’s been 5 days since I had it removed. The bruising is so severe that I’m wondering if bruising is normally like this. I’m really bruised. After the surgery, I found out it was 3 mm, and the hospital where I had the surgery said that because my skin was thin, they had inserted 1.5 mm or 2 mm, but when it was taken out, they said it seemed like the silicone was about 3 mm. They said they didn’t do cartilage tying and only used the septum, and since the hump was rasped down, they trimmed the septal cartilage into the empty area. I can’t take a front-facing photo because of the bruising and severe swelling between my brows. I look so ugly. I had it done with a closed approach, and they said suture removal starts from day 7. Once the sutures are removed, the swelling will keep going down, right?
