I recently had revision breast surgery with Director Kim Guk-hyun at Human Plastic Surgery Clinic, and I’m totally satisfied! During my first surgery, I had Mentor smooth implants inserted, but as time passed, they started looking so strange that I wondered if this was really right. Originally, I wanted natural-looking, pretty volume, but from around the time when people say the texture starts to soften, rippling became really severeㅠ It felt like the implant inside my breast was folding like wrinkles, so every time I wore clothes or touched it, I kept worrying about it. That was so stressful, and the shape gradually became less and less pretty, so I thought, “No way,” but it really had become bizarreㅠ So in the end, I decided to have revision surgery, and honestly, even looking into it wasn’t easy, but if I talk about that it’ll get too long, so I’ll skip itㅠㅠㅠ
Anyway!! This time, I switched the implants to Motiva, and the sizes were adjusted to fit my body type and breast pocket: L 340cc, R 360cc. These were the sizes I decided on after a long consultation with the director, and I think it really turned out well this time~!! I did spend money, and because it was revision surgery, there were additional costs. I chose Motiva because I was told it is firmer and more stable than smooth implants, so the risk of rippling is lower~ As a result, I’m so satisfiedㅠ The implants settled much more naturally, and the volume came out exactly to the degree I wanted, so it’s really greatㅠ Especially the shape is seriously holy. I also feel like the asymmetry was corrected a lot!!
The surgery was done through an armpit incision, just like my first surgery. The armpit incision is definitely nice because the scar is barely visible! Maybe because it was revision surgery, recovery was fast too, and anyway, I think the armpit is easier to manage for scars than other areas. After surgery, the first few days were uncomfortable, but as time passed, the swelling went down and I could see the breast line settling beautifully~ After about 3–4 days, I was able to go about daily life with almost no difficulty, with just a slight tight feeling and some muscle soreness? I think you can generally expect everything to return to normal in about a month, though of course you need to wait 3–4 months for the texture?
Anyway, I really think this revision surgery was the right choice. The new implants have settled stably, so the line and shape I wanted look natural, the volume is just right, and the asymmetry feels much improved, so I honestly have nothing more to wish for.
