I posted after removal, and many people were curious, and there were many people like me who were worrying about removal. When both my mind and body were ruined because of my nose, each post like this gave me so much support and help... At that time, I thought to myself. If I get it removed, I will definitely write a post. I want to be even a little bit of help to someone struggling like I was... If you are thinking about removal, whether because of the shape or various issues, please don’t feel too devastated. Look into many clinics and go for consultations in person... Please don’t rely too much only on comments here. Everyone is different. There are clinics and doctors who fit me, too. And while reading posts from various communities, especially all the posts here, gather information about clinics and surgery, think about it thoroughly, then choose. Wanting everything easily and for free is honestly greed. If you feel, “this is the place,” trust builds, and then the result will surely be good too.
My first surgery last year was like a moth eating away at me... After a long period of endurance, I had it removed. I posted about the removal a few days ago, so if you’re curious, please read it rather than asking questions. How am I now........... Very good. Truly. The swelling in my nose went down incredibly quickly, I have almost no pain, and it has been two weeks, but daily life is very comfortable. Well.... I’ll know more after the swelling goes down further. If you read posts here, among people who had removal, some say that even after time passes, the shape is like their original nose, while others say it changed too severely. This depends on the surgical method, so I can’t say for certain, but for me, it is similar to my original nose and I’m satisfied. More than anything, my mind is at ease. I have come to cherish myself a little more and become more confident. And I think the time I spent going through this difficulty gave me the wisdom to face plastic surgery more directly. I’m living with so, so much gratitude that I was able to have the removal, and that I’m recovering well. During these two weeks, I mean.... So everyone, even if things are hard right now, please don’t hurt too much. I hope you wait while making positive time and things for yourself, then have your removal beautifully done at a good place, and smile much, much more.
I gathered up, in my own way, all the methods for recovering quickly after removal...
After removal, these may be very obvious things, but I’ll organize what I did that might be helpful.
1. For 3 days after removal, I iced whenever I had time. You know those hot/cold packs shaped like an eye mask... The clinic gave me one. I used it very, very diligently. I think this was the number one contributor to having less swelling and bruising. 2. I diligently took Elas**, Bru* medication, and I tried really hard to drink 4-5 pumpkin juices a day. If you search just the first syllables of the medicines online, they all come up. I can’t answer everything, so I hope you search online and find out. 3. I ate low-sodium foods, and ate small amounts often so as not to put strain on the philtrum and columella. I mainly ate things like porridge, sweet pumpkin, bananas, and so on, and I also refrained a lot from flour intake for a week. 4. Oh, starting from day 4, I also did warm compresses very, very diligently~~ It was cold, so I couldn’t exercise. 5. I tried to drink a lot of water. I’m a coffee person, so I don’t drink much water, but I’m still trying now. 6. I once read a post saying protein and vitamins after surgery help, so I had 2 soy milks, vitamin C three times a day, and also took omega-3, calcium, multivitamins, and probiotics. 7. For three days, I slept sitting reclined. To do this, I had bought and prepared a beanbag sofa in advance.
That’s a lot.... Anyway, maybe thanks to these various efforts, my recovery has been incredibly fast, and I’m living very comfortably and happily. I hope this helps even a little. After reading everything above, if you have any questions, leave a comment and I’ll answer when I come in. ~~!!
