Hello~~ It’s now day 6 after surgery After removing the splint and the cotton inside my nose, I feel like I can finally breathe a bit... Yesterday I saw myself without the splint for the first time, and really... I realized this is what people mean when they say you look like Avatar It honestly feels like someone stepped on top of my nose and walked across it^^ㅠㅠ They say it gets a bit better after just two weeks, so I guess I have to wait and see...?
For my first surgery, I had hump correction, lateral osteotomy, silicone, septal extension, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and a septal support strut. (Turns out they barely used the ear cartilage and septum, and had supported it with Medpor instead...;;) During surgery, Medpor came out, which I hadn’t expected at all... So what was supposed to be a partial removal became a full removal.
That made me even more worried, but it seems better than I expected (?).. I also got swelling laser treatment, and since it was Medpor removal, they prescribed Rizaben too. Does taking this really make your hair fall out and cause acne...? It’s scary... ㅠㅠ Because of the removal surgery, since the year before last I don’t even know how many times a day I came into this community The places I had consultations at were ㅊㅇ, ㅈㅇㅈㅇ, ㅍㄹㅁ, ㅅㅅㅇ (there were more, but I don’t remember) I got it done at one of these! It’s a hospital I found through this community, and I think I chose well The consultant takes really good care of me, and the doctor checks my progress every time I come in for treatment too!! I’ll only know after the swelling goes down, but I like the line and everything! When will this Avatar-like feeling go away...? ㅠ If you have any questions, I’ll answer them haha
