I had severe astigmatism and myopia in both eyes, so I was going to get LASEK, but after an eye exam, I was told the devastating news that LASIK and LASEK weren’t possible because my corneas were extremely thin. They said the only option was lens implantation, so it’s already been a year since I had it done. There are anterior and posterior types of lens implantation, and I heard posterior is more common these days, but because my astigmatism was so severe, I had anterior lens implantation with good fixation. For the first 3 months right after surgery, I couldn’t get used to it because of glare, so I thought I shouldn’t have done it, but now it’s so comfortable and I really like it lolololol
