Hello, it has been two months since I had my nasal implant removal surgery. I came back after a long time hoping to be of help to many people. Many people may still be having a hard time, and because I know that feeling well, I came to help as much as I valued reading each post.
I had my septal cartilage + costal cartilage + silicone removed. Complete removal. In my first surgery, they shaved down my hump, inserted silicone, and finished with costal cartilage, but I disliked the shape of my nose so much that I had it removed after 3 and a half weeks. To start with what you are probably most curious about, the shape: it did not completely return to my natural nose. Should I call it a third nose? The image is similar, but it looks a little different. I am satisfied with how it looks now (of course, compared with the surgically altered nose). It has now been about two months since surgery. The problems I worried about at first, such as my nose collapsing or developing inflammation, have not occurred so far. I have not had a contraction period either. However, among the things done during my previous nose surgery, although I did not know it at the time, nasal pinching, narrowing of the nasal valve, and scar tissue occurred. Because of this, breathing has become a little uncomfortable. For the revision surgery, I had it at a different hospital, not the first hospital.
