Before surgery, my asymmetrically crooked face was a huge concern and stress for me. After becoming an adult, I decided to have surgery after long discussions with my parents. At the hospital, the consultant and director kindly explained the surgery, and I ended up having two types of facial contouring together with SSRO. It has now been 3 months since the surgery. Now that 3 months have passed, the swelling has gone down a lot compared with before. There is still a little residual swelling, but it’s barely noticeable, and it will all go down with time, so I’m just living without thinking much about it. And I’ve been happily spending time playing badminton and soccer, which I had wanted to do but couldn’t until now, and I’m doing well without any discomfort! I’m also eating the foods I wanted to eat without any trouble haha Thanks to the surgery going well, I have much more confidence than before and am meeting my friends more often. Every friend I meet tells me the surgery seems to have gone well, my face has gotten much smaller, and my impression has become very gentle, so I feel really good. Before surgery, a friend said, “Hey, why is your jaw crooked to the left?” and after that I kept getting teased. I was extremely stressed, and since it was clearly visible in photos, I hated taking pictures. But now all of that is gone, and I feel like I’ve become just an ordinary person, so I’m really grateful to Director Lee Seok-jae for doing the surgery so well haha
