<Current day 7 front, three-quarter side, side><(Side) Day of removal-day 7><(Front) Day of removal-day 7>Today is exactly one week since removal! (Please understand the pores in the photos ,,)
I have not felt symptoms like a contraction phase yet, and as the swelling goes down, the bulbous-looking nose is gradually improving ~ They say swelling at the nasal tip goes down the latest, so I am waiting longer, and the swelling around the glabella and nasal bridge has gone down a lot, so it has become extremely low,, I think a low nasal bridge suits my face, so that is at least a relief ㅠ.ㅠ Compared with my operated nose, the overall impression of my face has definitely changed from sharp to chubby? feeling. The broad-looking feeling, as if the nasal bridge looked shaved down, is also becoming more natural as the swelling goes down! It has not completely disappeared, but I am going to wait longer.
As for pain, when I wash my face and touch the bones on both sides of my nasal bridge, it throbs and hurts. I guess it is because they contoured the bone, right? I had yellow bruising in two vertical lines on the nasal bridge, but it has faded somewhat now! And inside the nose, scar tissue has not been filling up or anything, and since some dissolvable sutures are still left, it is just a little uncomfortable. Because of the surgery, I have more nasal discharge than usual, so it is hard because I keep wiping it,, What I am worried about now is that as the swelling in the nasal bridge and nasal tip gradually goes down, I am worried a step-off might form in the line between the nasal bridge and nasal tip,, If it is not severe, I am not planning to get scar-tissue injections. I do not want to worry about another side effect ㅠㅠ (The director said he would lower the nasal tip septal cartilage as much as possible to match the nasal bridge line so that no step-off would form, but because each person’s skin and soft-tissue characteristics are different, if a lot of scar tissue forms, tissue can fill in and make it look stepped. For that part, you would need scar-tissue injections, but it is your own choice!)
Right now I am just living while hoping the contraction phase does not come. Even if you get removal, it does not mean you completely stop worrying about your nose; you keep looking at it. But it is not to the extent that, like when I had my operated nose, I worried about side effects and felt stressed because I hated the artificial feeling so much that I could not go about daily life. After removal, my quality of life definitely changed. But there is still very slight pain, and because it has not been long since surgery, I think I keep looking at it out of habit(?). Since everyone pursues different things, I hope you decide carefully when getting removal, and please use this review only as a reference.
